A group of survivors must fight for their lives against mutants created by mysterious dark smoke from a sinkhole. Lee Hwa Sun, a police detective, is thrown into chaos when she receives a call from her husband's murderer, leading her to Mujishi, where the residents have transformed into monsters after inhaling the smoke.
